January Weekend Fun at ZooAmerica
I’ve shared before how much we enjoy visiting ZooAmerica, and while I do love cozying in during this chilly weather, it does wonders for the soul to get outside a bit! No better way to enjoy the fresh air than by visiting some amazing animals, and during the next two weekends, there are special animal enrichment activities focused on a specific animal group from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- January 18 & 19 | Birds
- January 25 & 26 | Wolves
Have a child with sensory concerns?
Hersheypark is wonderful about accommodating sensory needs, and so is ZooAmerica! For a second year, there with be a Sensory-Friendly Morning on Saturday, January 25. Guests with any sensory needs can experience ZooAmerica with modified exhibits, calming rooms and special animal encounters throughout the day.
Winter is also a great time to visit ZooAmerica because not only are there typically less visitors, North American animals are often more active in the cold weather.
Free admission for kids, special activities, sensory-friendly visiting and active animals to check out? I know, friends! It’s time to hit the zoo. Grab the kids and head out to ZooAmerica on one of these January weekend days!
