****Thank you to EasyKicks for sponsoring this post so I could share my honest opinion about their cool sneaker service for our growing kiddos!***
Raise your hand if you have plenty of time in your life to keep up with making sure your kiddos’s shoes are well stocked in the sizes they need as they continue to grow…and grow…and grow. Relentless little growers, aren’t they?! And while we’re on it, raise your hand if you have no trouble keeping their closets neatly organized and tidy while you steadily pass outgrown pairs onto appreciative homes? What’s that? There are no hands raised? Shock!
See, if you are anything like me, you fumble into each new size with a hopeful prayer and a mad grab through a box of too-big shoes and clothes stashed from kind hand-me-downs and consignment sale finds. With no organized game plan to speak of, when my kids outgrow their shoes, I usually end up quickly ordering the first pair I can find online and hoping for the best. Their old pairs? Tossed in a bag somewhere in the basement for when I “someday” have time to sort them and pass them onto friends with smaller kiddos.
Yup, our shoe scene is a bit of a total mess, but fear not! These is a solution at hand for us less-than-together mamas–enter EasyKicks!
What is EasyKicks?
It’s shoe club for kids! It’s an on-demand members service that keeps brand new shoes on your kids growing feet. For just $20 a month, your kids can choose from a thoughtfully-curated selection of new everyday sneakers from the top brands, Nike, Jordan, Converse and Hurley. You can cancel at any time. And whenever you are ready for new pair (kids outgrow the shoes, they get trashed, or they just want a new pair!), you can trade in the shoes at any time! Once the new pair arrives at your doorstep, just drop the old EasyKicks in the mail using the pre-paid return envelope and they’ll recycle or donate them for you. Easy breezy.
Is EasyKicks’ shipping convenient?
Yes! First of all shipping is free and takes 3-5 days. So you’ll get your new pair quickly!
And you never send a pair of sneakers back until the new ones are in your hands, so you are never without a pair. To send your old shoes back, place your old EasyKicks shoes in the bag that comes with every order, seal it up, and drop it in your mailbox, any United States Postal Service (USPS) blue box or location, or any FedEx location.
How can I make sure I’m ordering the right size of EasyKicks?
EasyKicks has a printable size chart for you to quickly measure feet before you order. But if the shoes arrive and don’t fit, no sweat! Just send them back for free, and get another pair in the right size!
Is the $20/month worth it?
So much so! Here’s the thing, I have two kids, and a pair of brand-name kids’ sneakers can easily cost $40 or more. So if they each go through three pairs a year, the membership has already paid for itself. Not to mention the ease and convenience or ordering and free shipping. And the bonus of being able to unload the old kicks to a donation service? Sweet!
Will my kids actually like these shoes?
YES! Check out their huge selection of cool kicks! My kids had so much fun looking through all the pairs of Nike, Jordan, Converse and Hurley to choose their pair. So many trendy, fun choices!
At first I was skeptical about how EasyKicks would work, but after ordering and receiving our first pair, I was sold! The service is SO EASY to use, and my kids thought it was too fun to open their personalized boxes, filled with stickers and things kids like.
