3+ years ago, when I was a proud parent-to-be, I fell in love with these publications. I read them, felt like an extraordinarily responsible knocked-up lady and learned a lot. Fast-forward to present-day and I still subscribe to both Parents and Parenting magazines. I still learn stuff by reading them. But…maybe not loving them as much?? Definitely not totally eschewing them, but let’s be honest, the complexity of which sunscreen to pick only reaches so far (or at least, should only reach so far–if it doesn’t get a hobby, fellow parent). And if I read one more article about the best vacation spots/hotels to take your children to, it is possible that I will shoot myself in protest. So I’m still piling these mags on my scarily-tall absymal to-read pile reading these magazines, but they don’t hold quite the allure that they used to hold. In summary, they are so 3 years ago…
