As a natural worrier, it is so easy for me to get fussed up about things that aren’t true and that will likely never come to pass (i.e. our house will probably not be attacked by a random gang of burglars, nor will my daughter grow up socially stunted b/c I skipped playgroup last week). Focusing on this kind of stuff really isn’t productive or helpful. So I’m going to take this verse to heart as a much-needed reminder to pay attention to the stuff that I know to be true right now:
