I hate cleaning. Loathe it. Will put it off for forever. I could do laundry or wash dishes until I am blue in the face, but cleaning…not so much. A couple days ago though, I decided to embrace my inner Mom of the Year and go for it. It went well. My son started rolling around on the floor, throwing an epic temper tantrum b/c I would not let him be in charge of spraying the dusting spray. My daughter started crying. This lead my dog to start barking. Knowing that my son’s physical therapist was due soon at our house and I was basically going to get nothing done, despite my best intentions and efforts lead me to call my husband and shout that I was never, ever going to try to clean again while I had both kids awake with me in the house. Knowing how insane I sounded lead me to start crying.
The takeaway from this morning: cleaning is a vicious schedule and should be avoided at all costs.
