Get Over Yourself: Wisdom Courtesy of a Two-Year Old

People are always talking about the stuff they have learned from their kids.  Was so proud of myself that in the midst of a food-court-harried lunch I took a quick minute to actually look at my son (vs. just wiping up his spills, picking up fries and providing a steady stream of ketchup).  Here he was, sitting in broad daylight in a crowd of people, rocking out his Burger King crown with pride.  In fact, not wearing the BK crown while eating his lunch would not even be an option.  In his world, if someone hands you a neat hat and wants to make you feel like royalty, you just embrace it.  We should all be so cool as to be able to just get over ourselves and not even care what anyone else thinks.  We take ourselves way too seriously.  Get over it, don your crown and have a good laugh.
