At the Ready
In a similar vein, I used to gawk at people who left their Christmas lights up post-January. Now I see someone lighting it up in green and red on Valentine’s Day and think, “Dang! They are on the ball–10 months ahead of schedule. Go them!” Truth is, I’m jealous. I wish I had enough nerve to leave my lights up year round, save myself the annual hassle of hanging them (read: nagging my husband to go out and hang them) and say a sweet little “oh well!” to anyone who would beg to differ.
A tremendous fan of time-savers and anything that allows me to perpetually be “at the ready”, I’m very interested in further efforts towards efficiency. Obviously, no idea is too quirky, as I’m willing celebrate Christmas year-round if it makes my life easier right now. 😉
