Hallmark Christmas movies

I could probably just post the title and end it there.  All of you women would understand–there really isn’t anything more to say.  Sure, Jesus is the reason for the season, but is there any other way to write Christmas cards or wrap gifts without the precious cheesy Christmas love stories unfolding in the background?  When my husband told me that we were going to have to cancel our cable the other year b/c it wasn’t in our budget anymore, I cried.  For two reasons–the Gilmore Girls reruns at 5pm (do they still do that??) and the Hallmark Christmas movies.  And then a beautiful thing happened–I had a baby.  And while this is obviously an amazing gift of life and blah blah blah, this baby grew into a toddler who is obsessed with Mickey Mouse.  This was my ticket!!  We HAD to get cable so we could get the Disney channel, obviously!  Hallmark movies restored!  The balance of the Christmas season is now back in tact, and I am able to officially carry on with my Christmas business.  Bring on the wrapping paper…!
