I’m a cheap date. It doesn’t take much. If you can make me snort-out-loud, I’m basically sold and in love. So when one of my all-time favorite bloggers Delilah from Confessions of a Semi-Domesticated Mama* referred me to the My Life and Kids Community, I felt like a I tripped on a gold mine. These people were funny! Moreover, they were real! I felt like I just walked into a room, could be myself and just breathe–and smile, a lot! Then it got even better: I discovered this community had an awesome weekly feature Finding the Funny (this is also found at Kelley’s Break Room). Basically, a whole bunch of bloggers link up posts each week that make them laugh. Then everyone gets to read each other’s posts and laugh even more. So, basically it’s a lot of fun, and, since I like to laugh, it really works for me.
Today I totally scored and get to be the lucky one to pick what I think are the five best from the past week. Obviously, not an easy job, but overall, gave me a sense of self-importance and something to fuss over beyond changing a lot of poopy diapers, so it was really cool, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. Here are my picks for the five best of last week:

*further shout-out to the rockin’ Delilah here: she is the one I credit with re-introducing me to the fantastic vocab-word-blast-from-my-past “snort”. I had forgotten the importance of frequent usage of this word, but thanks to her I’ve now circulated it back into my regular vernacular
