Crap.  I’ve got a new obsession.  How did I even discover this one??  All I know is, somewhere between my Mom (who adored daffodils) dying and seeking thus-appropriate daffodil-themed jewelry to pang at my sister’s and my hearts, I am a full-fledged Etsy card-carrying member.  At the side I have pictured a couple of the current items on my “favorites” list.  Here is the problem: each and every shop owner I have dealt with on Etsy has been so accommodating and open to personalized service, I am absolutely hooked.  I too easily envision these sweet SAHMs sacrificing their nap-hour to produce these specialized goods and respond to my too-needy “conversation requests”.  In any case, carry on Etsy.  I am there, I am promoting you, and as my budget allows, I financially “getting your back”.  Plus, I remain open-mouth-gaping that you actually have the creativity to produce such goods.

So, I know this is sad, but I had never even heard of Etsy before your post today. I am now an official fan and quite possibly harmfully in love with all of the beautiful and unique jewelry…Goodbye laundry and cleaning, hello new perusing obsession :-)

I've bought AND sold on etsy. I love that site. Kyle bought me a necklace for mother's day with the kids' names engraved and I've put up the jewelry I've made on there too. It's great! Better than ebay because you're dealing with the people who actually made the stuff. And trust me, they're more than excited when you ask them questions because it means you like their stuff. : )
